** Both have a flathead screwdriver named "Turner".
** Both have TwoGirlsToATeam, with one of the girls being a saw who [[ViewerGenderConfusion isn't obviously female]].
** Both groups of tools have a RobotDog as a TeamPet.

** Squirt has the opposite problem- he's supposed to be male, but has a high-pitched and generally feminine-sounding voice that may cause some viewers to think he's a girl.
