They're just trying to help two of their friends and most of them end up becoming collateral damage when Black Pearl starts tearing through their ranks to find and retrieve Moonstone. Special mention goes to Agate, who is first tortured for information by Black Pearl, then suffers a FateWorseThanDeath when Black Pearl forcefully fuses with her and leaves her a grotesque husk when they separate again.
