Cut as per the complaining thread. I copied the funny moments so there’s something on this page.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: This episode parodied ''Series/{{Dateline}}'', however, given the number of TrueCrime series (there is even an entire channel dedicated to it: Investigative Discovery) in this day and age it comes across as lazy, especially given the small amount of money that was stolen (which the episode itself lampshaded). It would have made more sense for it to have been a podcast or a Netflix special.

** As
the episode itself lampshaded). It would have made more sense is a parody of a crime documentary, the series uses a smiling photo of the family to introduce them.. [[BehindTheBlack only for it later to have show the couch is being repossessed in the photo.]]
** Lisa's 911 phone call
-->'''Lisa:''' There's
been a podcast or robbery! Send help now!
-->'''Operator:''' I didn't hear
a Netflix special.please.
-->'''Lisa:''' This is an emergency! You don't have to say please.
-->'''Operator:''' Sounds like what someone stole is your manners.
-->'''Lisa:''' Please.
-->'''Operator:''' Help is on the way. You're welcome!
-->'''Lisa:''' Could I get your name, please? [[TranquilFury And the name of your supervisor, if I may?]]
-->'''Operator:''' Help is no longer on the way.
** Bart's introduction in the documentary.
-->'''Bart:''' I've been waiting for you. ''(dumps bucket of water on cameraman)''
** The narrator has some brilliant snark about the situation
-->'''Narrator:''' Lisa's $650.74 college fund was stolen. Her dreams of three weeks of college, without a meal plan, were gone.
-->'''Narrator:''' Surprisingly, the mystery would not be solved in the first five minutes of the show.
-->'''Narrator:''' Well, we didn't solve the mystery. But we watched awful things happen to people who weren't us. And isn't that what life's all about?

* SpoiledByTheFormat: The documentary narration admits while following one suspect that it wasn't them, because they wouldn't reveal the culprit five minutes in (to a half-hour episode).

* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Marge ended up taking the money with the excuse being she wanted to experience the adventures of life like Homer and the kids. Marge has had plenty of episodes in this season alone where she focused on guilt tripping Homer then actually going on adventure. Furthermore she and Homer ended up making Abe TheScapegoat so unlike when Homer stole Bart’s money she doesn’t have to face any consequences for her actions.
