* SpecialEffectFailure: Plenty of ConspicuousCG and obvious wirework throughout the film, but ''especially'' the Nine-headed dragon which looks like something from a 2001 [=PS2=] game. Especially jarring since the movie came out ''the same year'' as ''Film/GodzillaKingOfTheMonsters2019'' with the impressive King Ghidorah.

* {{Narm}}: The movie's attempt at drama didn't work as expected, to say the least. The trade-off of one-liners between Sinclair and Kowloon (which is ''supposed'' to sound Badass) is particularly laughable.
* OneSceneWonder: The battle in a train where Kowloon fights Jane one-on-one, ending with the train going off its tracks and rolling through the slums area, with both combatants being tossed around like ragdolls, is one of the more decently-choreographed battles with slightly better special effects. It's an above-average action scene, and sticks out particularly in an otherwise awful film.
