Adding an alternative character intepretation for Braxton.

Added DiffLines:

* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: Braxton. Is he really an amoral gun-for-hire who will bully or kill anyone for a paycheck, or does he have his own moral code similar to Wolff's? While he is seen taking a white-collar criminal down a peg, he also kills one person, and is implied to kill another, who are ultimately revealed to be innocent. However, we never actually see Braxton kill the second person (nor do we know what kind of conversation they had if he did kill her), and Braxton's comment about "sticky fingers" to the first person could mean he thought the man was guilty, possibly because his boss (the movie's BigBad) told him so. It may be Braxton let his boss die not just because he wasn't going to stand in Wolff's way, but also because he had been mislead and was ready to kill the guy himself anyway.

** The film enjoys an odd appreciation from fans of Wrestling/AllEliteWrestling, as ''The Accountant'' is a very common lead-in for episodes of ''AEW Dynamite''. Plenty of jokes about AEW viewers only ever seeing the last five minutes of this film abound.

* CreatorKiller: Despite Creator/AnnaKendrick's role being quite small, it was rumoured that the poor (for a major studio film with several expensive stars) box office performance was pinned on her by Warner Brothers, causing major studios to cease offering her leading roles in top tier films. Apart from the 3rd ''Film/PitchPerfect'' which was milking the last drops out of the franchise, her output since The Accountant has been quirky indie movies made by her circle of friends, voice-over work, several straight to streaming tv shows & {{B Movie}}s that feel like a gigantic waste of talent for an actress with with Tony, Oscar and Grammy award nominations.

This trope is only legit if the film fails. It didn't. Also, complaining.

* AudienceAlienatingPremise: How many on the autism spectrum see the movie itself. There are those who see the film as dehumanizing to autistic people because of the brutal actions of The Accountant, and worry it may reinforce destructive stereotypes. Others on the autism spectrum like seeing an autistic action hero, who they may perceive as empowering in some ways, and consider it FairForItsDay with respect to other contemporary portrayals of the spectrum.
** And then there are those who don't give a shit either way and see it as solid action thriller.
