It's not hindsight if it's already true as of the day of release.

* HarsherInHindsight:
** Peter visiting a world where he died gets a lot worse when you remember what happens to him in the build-up to ''ComicBook/SuperiorSpiderMan''.
** Peter's exasperation at everyone in the Ultimate verse knowing his secret identity, and him ranting about the trouble of maintaining it to protect his loved ones, becomes harsher because this is post-One More Day Peter as mentioned below. The trouble was shortsightedly revealing his secret identity on a national level, suffering consequences, then taking a DealWithTheDevil to not only erase those problems but also [[StatusQuoIsGod revert his marriage to Mary Jane]] as collateral, aborting their potential daughter from possible futures in the other process. Ultimate MJ running away from him and crying becomes this in context, with this in mind.
* HilariousInHindsight: before going back home, Peter has some advices for Miles. The first one? "Don't let anyone clone you. Seriously." That was a reference to ''ComicBook/TheCloneSaga''. Miles was cloned and even had his own clone saga starting in ''ComicBook/MilesMoralesSpiderMan'' #25.

There was a crossover with the Supreme Power universe, but this perception was still valid as that was another pocket and contained universe.

** There is some trepidition because the editors in the letters' pages have implied[[note]]...which escalated into "confirmed" as of the ending of ''ComicBook/AgeOfUltron''[[/note]] that they will continue writing Mainstream-Ultimate crossovers. One of the reasons why the Ultimate universe is popular, and one of its distinct qualities, is that it is untouched by outside universes, giving it a lot more freedom in development. Opening the floodgates of crossover-dom may turn it into just another alternate universe, is one opinion.

* ContinuityLockOut: This comic may be a hard read for new readers that are unfamiliar with the ComicBook/UltimateMarvel universe. There are several references to events from the ''ComicBook/UltimateSpiderMan'' comic, the Avengers are not the Avengers but ComicBook/TheUltimates, Gwen Stacy is neither the original nor Spider-Gwen, Ultimate Mysterio, etc. Not to mention that Peter Parker and Miles Morales live in different universes, which is not their current status in comics.

Moved Spider-Men II to its own page

* FanonDiscontinuity: A lot of fans dispute whether or not the universe seen at the end of ''Spider-Men II'' was a restored Earth-1610, despite Marvel's editorial department saying that it was in an Q&A and ''Spider-Man: Miles Morales'' treating it as such; pointing to discrepancies between the pre-''Secret Wars'' Ultimate Marvel Universe and this one, and Bendis' tendency towards {{Series Continuity Error}}s. That ''ComicBook/DonnyCatesVenom'' acts like the Ultimate Universe ''hasn't'' been restored only fuels further disagreements.

* JustHereForGodzilla: Many people may not be as much interested in ''Spider-Men II'' to know about the Miles Morales from the Prime earth, but for the earth-shattering event of the ending: [[spoiler:The return of the Ultimate universe!]]

Unfortunate Implications requires citations.

* UnfortunateImplications: Some fans have pointed out that Ultimates Nick Fury's "I'm sorry to hear that" to hearing that his classic counterpart is white sounds racist and wouldn't fly if the shoe had been on the other foot.

** A lot of fans also dislike that it's the post-''ComicBook/OneMoreDay'' Peter that crosses over with Miles, rather than the more accomplished, HappilyMarried version, who would have been a better role model and inspiration to the new Spidey.
