In fact, given her status as Lucretia's body slave and the value her virginity was meant to have, maybe he only thought Crixus would be punished. It all depends on whether he knew about his affair with Lucretia. Quintus knew sure, but it's possible Ashur didn't. Of course, he might simply have not cared what happened to Naevia, as long as he hurt Crixus.
