* HarsherInHindsight: Prior to the anime adaptation's first airing, Creator/InoriMinase's character [[LightNovel/ReZero Rem]] was put into a comatose state.
* HilariousInHindsight: The Princess has a strong bear AnimalMotif, later creates a onesie pajama suit designed to look like a Teddy Demon, and when she gets summoned to the starting RPG area by the Teddy Demons' "summon help" ability, she utterly curbstomps the starting adventurers. When the manga got an anime adaptation, it aired in the same season as the anime adaptation of ''LightNovel/KumaKumaKumaBear'', a light novel where the protagonist having a bear AnimalMotif, wearing a bear-designed onesie outfit, and utterly curbstomping other adventurers is the entire story premise. [[note]] Also, both shows have one character voiced by Creator/InoriMinase. [[/note]]

** The Princess regularly racks up moments of awesome.
*** In the episode where the Princess needs to make her panties, everyone is quickly convinced that she's making a weapon of mass destruction, thus leading to the entire fucking castle going on high alert until they find the panties that she made. Also doubles as a funny moment.
*** In Episode 10 the Princess shows that if she wanted to she could escape the Demon Castle completely but chooses not to.

* CrazyAwesome: Princess Aurora. She is a crafty GeniusDitz who won't let anything stand in her way of a good night's sleep.

* AccidentalInnuendo: Keeping with how all blatantly Japanese names were given similar-meaning English equivalents in the official translation, Succyun was given two different potential variants for her name. The manga translation got the idea across by naming her "Bussy"... which also happens to be a sexual slang term (it's short for "boy pussy", AKA the male butthole in reference to penetrative sex). Likely due to her poor name, she's the only character to get a different English name for the anime (where she's called "Cubey" instead).

* AccidentalInnuendo: Keeping with how all blatantly Japanese names were given similar-meaning English equivalents in the official translation, Succyun was given two different potential variants for her name. The manga translation, "Bussy", while getting the idea across, is also an UnfortunateName due to "bussy" being a rather naughty slang term. [[labelnote:NSFW Explanation]]"Bussy" can be short for "boy pussy", A.K.A. the male butthole for use in penetrative sex.[[/labelnote]] Likely because later translators understood the slang, she's the only character to get a different English name for the anime, being changed to "Cubey" instead.

* TheyChangedItNowItSucks: A minor example when it comes to the Demon Cleric. A lot of manga readers were upset at the changes that the anime made when it came to his StalkerWithACrush tendencies towards [[spoiler:the Princess]] (amongst some other changes), worried that if a second season ever comes to fruition, the changes would lead to multiple plot holes relating to future plot developments.

* SugarWiki/MostWonderfulSound: The triumphant sounding fanfare whenever the Princess successfully completes a quest.

* {{Woolseyism}}: The official English translation gives {{Dub Name Change}}s to all the characters, especially the ones without obvious English meanings. Said translation goes out of its way to have all the names be as close to the original Japanese as possibility while still sounding proper. It occasionally falters, such as the AccidentalInnuendo for Succyun that resulted in a second name change for the anime, but for the most part the translator does a decent job getting the original intent across.
