Then, just when they think they have a workaround for that issue, it gets yanked away from them when [[spoiler: Archer dies]]. At the same time, she nearly gets her mind melted by [[spoiler: the Relic of Knowledge]] while learning that Raven does care about her and that Ruby [[spoiler: is Ea]]. She is once more riddled with indecision, blaming herself for recent events and terrified of making things worse. Oh, and when she finally gets the courage to tell her sister the truth, [[spoiler: ''her mother gets decapitated right in front of her'']]. [[spoiler: It doesn't stop even after Salem is defeated.
