Moved from the Web Animation's Ho Yay page since this manga has its own YMMV page.

Added DiffLines:

* HoYay: There are several moments between Ruby and Weiss. Weiss encourages Ruby as their team leader giving her the confidence to beat Cardin in a training match, and later Ruby takes a hit for Weiss during their fight with the Hydra-Grimm before they use their [=IceFlower=] attack to bring it down. After the fight, Weiss admonishes Ruby for scratching at the wound she got shielding her, warning her it might scar; Ruby cheerfully noting that if it did scar, then they'd be like mirror images of one another. Weiss actually looks away, seeming to hide a LuminescentBlush at the comment.

* FirstInstallmentWins: The manga is set during Volumes 1-3 of the [[WebAnimation/{{RWBY}} original show]], which is considered the most iconic part of the show and allows for slice-of-life stories set in Beacon Academy to be explored along with extra world-building.

Moved from the main show's Nightmare Fuel page.

Added DiffLines:

* NightmareFuel: A new possession-type Grimm is introduced in Chapter 10 that looks like a giant six-eyed skull with tentacles coming out of it. In Chapter 11, this Grimm ambushes a group of King Taijitus and forcefully fuses them together to create a giant hydra-like Grimm. It's unlike other possession-type Grimm such as the Petras Gigas or the Armor Gigas; they only possess inanimate objects — this creature can possess multiple Grimm at the same time to create entirely new types of Grimm via fusion.
