Spelling/grammar fix(es)

** Yang's character and route is perhaps the most controversial amongst players. While a lot of people would claim that his route was one of the more interesting due to how closely it resembles the actual mafia, a lot of people find him unromantic and having far too many problematic elements to be considered an enjoyable love interest. Though a fair number of players does find him more refreshing in comparison to "typical" romances.
** Dante. He's usually an honorable man who has morals despite being a mafia boss, and even has a canon [[PuppyLove crush]] on the MC, to whom he usually treats respectfully and look out for. Which makes it all the more shocking when in [[spoiler: Orlok's bad ending, he [[RapeAsDrama de-files]] the MC in front of a beaten down Orlok for revenge]]. This caused a great number of people to see Dante in a bad light and harshly criticize [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness the writing of Dante's character.]]
** [[spoiler: Henri. While some players find his character arc interesting and sees him as a WellIntentionedExtremist that needs a redemption arc, there are a lot of people who genuinely do not care enough about his revenge on the mafia and Burlone and even claims that it was far too anti-climactic to appear at the very end of the game.]]
** Liliana, the player character, while her character changes with each route, at the heart of it all she is a normal girl. Many people think she lacks agency and dislikes how she relies on other characters too often. Though people will also praise how she can manage to stand her ground and be brave in situations that most normal people would cower at.

* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: Due to the nature of Yang’s character, a lot of players genuinely wonder if Yang cares for Liliana or not.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: Nicola. He’s a likable character with a good design and even voiced by Creator/RyoheiKimura, but his route is centered more around his loyalty to the family and position under ''Dante'' rather than Nicola himself.
* UnpopularPopularCharacter: Yang is arguably the most popular character, but is understandably disliked by the entire cast in-universe with the exception of ''maybe'' Liliana and the twins. Gilbert has some respect towards him at best, while Orlok, Dante, and Nicola are always distrustful of him.

* BrokenBase: ''Piofiore'' itself is a very divisive game. Triggering content aside, the general consensus is about how long the game is, the weak plot, or even how boring the majority of the routes are.
