True Art Is Incomprehensible is now an in-universe trope as per TRS.

* BrokenBase: The episode's trippy nature. Some love it, often comparing it to that of the works of Creator/DavidLynch or an episode of Series/TheTwilightZone1959, while others are too weirded out by it or unsatisfied by the episode's Gainax/Downer Cliffhanger Ending.

* IdiotPlot: If the plot is taken at face value, for the loop to continue indefinitely it will require the man to be the idiot primarily perpetuating the events of the loop each time, as he will seemingly always chase the woman down in search of answers whether he was the "victor" of the previous loop or the witness of the next, and will attempt to disarm her in his apartment, leading to a gun struggle that will always result in his or her death. It's clear that the "victor" of the previous loop will always have knowledge of it while going into the next, but if the beginning of the episode is any indication, he will make the wrong decision every time.

** The woman. She hears a gun struggle between a man and woman in the apartment across the street and, rather than call the police, she opts to close her window on the noise instead because it's distracting. However, it doesn't mean she deserves her fate of being trapped in an endless death loop.

** Possibly the man as well if the end of the episode is any indication, as he witnesses the gun struggle and watches while smoking a cigarette instead of calling the police. That said, it's implied that he will take matters into his own hands by pursuing the woman in search of answers, which is likely what perpetuates the loop no matter who the "victor" of the previous loop was.

* FridgeHorror: The predicament of the man and woman. Are they trapped in a GroundhogDayLoop or an IronicHell? And just how long have they been doing this!?

* WhatAnIdiot: During the final confrontation, instead of being clear about what he wants when speaking to the woman, he tries to disarm her despite it being clear that she was terrified and ready to shoot. Due to the StableTimeLoop nature of the episode, it either ends with him dead or him killing her, which ends with him dying anyway when she kills him in the next loop.

* SugarWiki/AwesomeArt: While the episode itself is a little bit divisive, its art style has become a fan-favorite style of the show, with many people comparing its trippy, comic book-like visuals to that of WesternAnimation/SpiderManIntoTheSpiderVerse.

It helps that the short's director, Alberto Mielgo, was a visual consultant on that movie.
