** Jonas and Sidney's relationship. They've got the standard sibling teasing down to a science, but Sidney is very supportive. She's supportive of Jonas coming out to her, especially considering [[TheBully he's into Mitch]], and she tries to comfort him about [[spoiler: Dean being arrested for his crimes, and the foster kids being taken away]].
** Mitch's gang are very wholesome, they'll mock and tease each other but they genuinely have each other's backs. Most of Mitch's gang are accepting of his sexuality, except for [[PoliticallyIncorrectHero Cliff]] later on in the story when Jonas is forbidden from seeing Mitch, Cliff comes to sympathize with their dilemma. [[spoiler: They have his back when they learn about his powers and try to help him process the breakup]]
** A minor detail but Javier always calls Jonas 'little bro' even before they started hanging out. [[spoiler: Even after the breakup]] Javi still calls Jonas by the nickname.
** Jonas [[spoiler: smashing the shed and revealing Dean's child pornography]]. While it was done for somewhat selfish reasons, it must have been cathartic for the victims.
** Henrietta is a very supportive mother towards Mitch. She handles his [[https://marsoid.tumblr.com/post/151680763009/how-did-henrietta-find-out-mitch-was-le-gay coming out with warmth and maturity.]] [[spoiler: She even supports Jonas at his high-school graduation.]]
