Project Moon publicly apologized for the errors and promised to make Mirror Dungeons more rewarding as well as adding additional modes to grind for EXP tickets and Threads.

** Gun-using Identities have an ammo counter that gradually get consumed as they use attacks that fire the weapon - the problem is, there is no way to reload ammo in a fight and some Identities ONLY have attacks that use ammo. This means that those Identities become useless in longer fights, as they eventually run out of bullets and are completely unable to attack.

* TheWoobie: Yuri. To say that she's been through a lot is an understatement. It's implied that the fall of Lobotomy Corporation has reduced her to scraping by, and even during her working days in Lobotomy Corporation, she was treated in the same manner as any other employee (i.e. like cannon fodder). Her treatment during Chapter 1 isn't pleasant either;

** "The real DifficultySpike was playing on mobile."During the initial launch of the game, many mobile players noted that their games would crash whenever they'd fight Abnormalities or use E.G.O.s. Naturally, this spawned a number of jokes about Project Moon's tendency to include steep difficulty spikes.

Added DiffLines:

* DifficultySpike: The game's prologue and 1st chapter are pretty easy, with only the Abnormality bosses offering a significant enough challenge. Enemies are weak enough that you don't really have to think about team composition or the deeper mechanics that early on - that entirely changes by Chapter 2, where the difficulty ramps up VERY fast, enemies start getting much more health and damaging skills and become more difficult to beat in Clashes. It doesn't get much easier from there on.

Added DiffLines:

** By extension, not gaining extra actions during Abnormality fights can make it so that it's very easy to be overwhelmed by the enemy having more attacks to make than you do, especially in Chapter 2 when the game takes the kid gloves off.

* DemonicSpider: Despite their ridiculous getups, their self-buffing and sanity-boosting make the Los Mariachis into some massive speedbumps on release. The game even recognizes this, with the enemies after your fights with them being of lower recommended level than they were (and are, in fact, a LOT easier with the tools you likely have starting off).

The game even recognizes this, with the enemies after your fights with them being of lower recommended level than they were (and are, in fact, a LOT easier with the tools you likely have starting off). It was hard enough to require a nerf soon after release.

Added DiffLines:

* ScrappyMechanic: The fact that you can't choose targets in non-Abnormality fights really stung for some people, as it makes it near impossible to properly strategize and defend staggered Sinners from getting smashed into bits, since the game will automatically select 'better' targets if available.

* NightmareFuel: The very concept of E.G.O Corrosion. Whereas its introduction in WebComic/WonderLab was very minor and only notes it to be dangerous in the long run, we get to see its full extent in this game. An E.G.O Corrosion is effectively the Abnormality itself as long as it exists. The GameplayAndStoryIntegration also counts. For context, an E.G.O Corrosion can only happen in-game when you activate an E.G.O with the Sinner being on low sanity (that, by the way, is reached by letting them see their allies die one by one), which means that their psyche has to become unstable enough. They'll have a SanitySlippage and become AxCrazy, and thus, E.G.O Corrosion can be considered a catharsis of all the built up despair, from being overwhelmed by it all. Letting a sinner Corrode their E.G.O is essentially torture in itself.
