** Though he is not truly evil, Ramesses II's existence is about you feeling despair at his sheer might. He is also the buffest man in the series.

** It is very strongly hinted and often even made clear that many of the friendships are more than just that.
*** Im and Djoser are the main example, as they care deeply about one another even after 3.000 years of being separated.
*** Hinome and Kobushi. It's made clear that Hinome cares about Kobushi more than anyone or anything and thinks about her first when she's not around. She excplicitly makes a connection between her relationship with Kobushi to Im's relationship with Djoser.
*** [[spoiler:Thoth]] and [[spoiler: Apophis]], obviously. Having lived with one another since the beginning of time and before the creation of light/the sun, they are closer with one another than anyone else could ever be. For their relationship, [[spoiler: Thoth created a whole new word]] to explain their relationship when their duties would come to an end. [[spoiler: Thoth called Apophis, who was anxious and flustered at Thoth's opinion, soft and kind when he's blushing. In the original Japanese text, Thoth uses a term to denote that Apophis is the most handsome person he has ever seen, and that his beauty is greater than anything else]]. And for someone who has seen many things of the world as the scribe of the Ogdoad, that is more than just a simple compliment.
