* JerkassWoobie: Vicky is TheSociopath, with a hidden violent streak, but she was so mentally wounded by her arrogant ControlFreak mom you feel bad for her.
* RootingForTheEmpire: Vicky is such a JerkassWoobie, motivated more by getting approval and love than by sinister motives, and she's clearly having so much fun and discovering new confidence as she gets out from underneath her stifling mom and dopey boyfriend and lives out her high school fantasy, you sort of want her to somehow succeed, or at least not suffer too much once her plan unravels. Her rather abrupt picking up of the VillainBall in the second half almost seems like an acknowledgment from the filmmakers that she came off too UnintentionallySympathetic early on.
* SugarWiki/SheReallyCanAct: Everyone who's seen the movie agrees that Creator/MaiaraWalsh gives a great performance as Vicky. She's completely convincing in both the adult and high school settings, and helps sell the far-fetched story to make this a cut above the usual hokey LifetimeMovieOfTheWeek.
