The screen holds on the shot of space for a few more seconds, before fading to black. And that was it -- no formal closedown announcement, no "God Save the Queen", ''nothing''.[[note]]This was most likely intentional; Southern was bitter about losing the franchise to TVS, to put it mildly, and had spent much of their final show attacking the [[MediaWatchdog IBA]] over their decision, and [[TakeThat mocked TVS with a song]] calling them "Portakabin TV" -- as Southern had refused to let TVS into their existing facility, this meant TVS employees were working out of trailers in the car park.
