** After a number of fans pointed out that, since he has Piccolo's regeneration powers, Cell could just cut off his leg to remove the bracelet with no consequence, the first bits of episode 2 has him trying, and Raditz saying that, since their souls are basically indestructible, it's a lost cause; and that they wouldn't be given the bracelets if it was possible to remove them, nor any objects with which to do so. It also points out other aspects of why no one has tried to escape- Raditz tried, but the ki suppressors are also trackers, and even if that wasn't the case, there's nowhere to escape to. There ''was'' an exit (the one Goku used to escape Hell), but it's been boarded up.

In this series, Dodoria's gender is treated respectfully and accepted like anything else.

** Rather than threaten violence on the Ginyu Force or their "pet", Cell takes a deep breath in the middle of his tirade and simply says that he'll report them as bad neighbors to Goz and Mez if they don't keep Ginyu under control. While PlayedForLaughs, it's a sign of progress from the previous episode where Cell resolved to not play [[FauxAffablyEvil Freeza's]] game anymore.

Creator/LittleKuriboh has ''not'' lost his touch one bit.

** Cell hasn't lost his touch in the BreakThemByTalking department despite literally going to hell - as shown when he begins to outline for Freeza just what will happen ''if'' he tells the rest that Freeza didn't die to Goku - not even to someone tangentially related to him - but to Trunks, ''Vegeta's'' offspring. The thought of losing his respect in hell is making ''Freeza'' of all people crap his metaphorical pants.
** We get to hear Captain Ginyu's soul get put through the soul scrubber. It's surprisingly chilling.
