TFS did end up adapting both things they had trouble with, in a small way.]]

* SalvagedStory: Episode 10 manages to salvage one of ''DBZA'''s biggest cancellations, [[spoiler:''Bojack Unbound'', as well as fix how Bojack was a [[GenericDoomsdayVillain generic]] and FlatCharacter in his original special, that it caused TFS a bunch of problems when adapting it. This Episode manages to fix that by Bojack unbounded from his special, where instead he gets to be an expressive, jolly space pirate (TalkLikeAPirate accent included) that wants to be the life of the dreary villainous party. Lani's hammy and jovial performance really adds to Bojack's character as well, leading him to become one of the series' {{Ensemble Dark Horse}}s too. The special itself is also only alluded to briefly, in very little detail aside from the important events, such as Bojack being freed from King Kai's planet (even meeting Cell after he exploded), Gohan killing him, and how he got punched by Goku's ghost]].

** After a number of fans pointed out that, since he has Piccolo's regeneration powers, Cell could just cut off his leg to remove the bracelet with no consequence, the first bits of episode 2 has him trying, and Raditz saying that, since their souls are basically indestructible, it's a lost cause; and that they wouldn't be given the bracelets if it was possible to remove them, nor any objects with which to do so. It also points out other aspects of why no one has tried to escape- Raditz tried, but the ki suppressors are also trackers, and even if that wasn't the case, there's nowhere to escape to. There ''was'' an exit (the one Goku used to escape Hell), but it's been boarded up.
** Dodoria in the abridged series was revealed as a woman in an UnsettlingGenderReveal, however, the ''manner'' in which they went about it can come off as transphobic[[note]]Dodoria reveals herself to be a woman with a masculine voice, she's met with revulsion before she's killed off as a joke- [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything something that's not too far off from someone revealing themselves as transgender and getting killed for it]][[/note]], [[CreatorBacklash which has been acknowledged by the creators themselves]]. In this series, Dodoria's gender is treated respectfully and accepted like anything else.

** Near the start of Episode 7, Cell visits Raditz's bedroom to look at his wall chart of who has been in HFIL. In the background you can see a display case containing his old Saiyan battle armor, including the hole through which Piccolo fired the Special Beam Cannon which killed him.
*** The wall chart itself is an FFB, in that it details both the history of who has been in HFIL and Raditz's written observations about them. Dodoria's photo has "DORI" written on it along with a heart symbol. Freeza's photo has "ASSHOLE" written on it. A photo of Nappa bears several question marks, implying that he disappeared from HFIL when he was inadvertently wished back to life.
