[[MagikarpPower And they are initially.]] But if you're able to get them with any of the exclusive inscriptions, a few decent normal and rare inscriptions and the share element gemini inscription, suddenly they become capable of wiping out hordes of enemies in seconds. Since its beam hits all enemies near the initial target, you only have to aim in the general direction of an enemy and it'll do the job. They pair especially well with Crown Prince, who in addition to focusing on elemental damage, reliably has decay on hand via his smoke grenades. Gemini the Thunderclap Gloves with a high% fire element effect chance and you can cause tons of explosions while forcing enemies to fight each other. It only gets crazier with certain occult scrolls.
* Radioactive Gauntlets. Take everything about the Thunderclap Gloves, and give it a free 100% damage boost and auto lock on. If you're lucky enough to get its exclusive... exclusive inscription [[note]] Every time the Enhanced Laser is activated, +20% Lucky Shot Chance, up to 100%. Reset when Enhanced Laser ends [[/note]], you basically have quadrupled its damage. All this at the small price of having to play a rhythm minigame. It still gives you the option of either the melting miasma, or horde annihilating explosion with the share element gemini inscription.

** The Ship's artillery barrage. Take out some of its turrets, and suddenly you have whole swathes of the arena covered in instant-death cannonballs. The zones that it's targeting are clearly marked, but unlike other genres like MMOs you often won't be able to see them immediately since you'll be looking at the boss to shoot it, so you'll have only a few seconds to look down and spot the circles, then ''possibly'' dash out.

** The ship, due to its required multitasking and needing to be very ''very'' fast on your toes (And absolutely have a great internet connection and ping).

** The Talisman weapon itself is a decent weapon for any character that relies on either crits or elemental damage, due to both it's homing nature going for the critical weak-points of enemies and the fact that you can change it's element on the fly. It even pairs well with the Gemini enchantment that grants the other weapon's element to it, allowing you to take advantage of the above mentioned Miasma using either a corrosive or electric weapon and the talisman to be able to proc miasma every time elemental effects proc. Not to mention it's alt-fire shoots out ''6'' of them which can lead to a world of hurt for the unfortunate victim of the barrage.

* ThatOneAttack: The Golem's rock rain is a big source of deaths for people. Early on, all you have to do is dodge the laser, then all his rocks. Which unfortunately look just like benign particle effects. Later on, and on higher difficulties? The golem will use ''both'' at ''once'' - meaning you are constantly having to look ''up'' to find out which rocks will go with you and forward to make sure you are behind a hazard so you do not get shot by the laser.

** The ship, due to its required multitasking and needing to be very ''very'' fast on your toes (And absolutely have a great ping).

* PopularWithFurries: Considering almost the entire cast of the game consists of animals, the cast had been the point of attention with many furry fans of the game.
* ScrappyMechanic: While you do get revived if a stage boss is beaten, you do not get any rewards. This unfortunately means people often RageQuit if they die on a boss and run out of time to get revived. While intended to discorage people from simply making one or two people do all the work for them and be carried, it ends up making people playing squishier heroes fall behind.

** Due to the Cloud Weaver's ability to hit remotely and jump from target to target, people have called them "[[Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy Yondu Arrows]]".

However, most players, unless they had an outright perfect build, wouldn't be able to pull this off normally, leading to complaints. Thankfully, the developers altered this, leading to the boss being buffed up to incredible stats for the final phase instead of just ending the game instantly.

** While all of the main characters are strong, the absolute strongest of them all is probably none other than Crown Prince himself. One may think his kit is fairly weak compared to the others, and at face value it is. His allies get insane stuff like high mobility, doubling up their weapons or high burst damage, while he gets a quick stun on a somewhat long cooldown and a poison grenade. However, said poison grenade is the crux of his kit, as it inflicts Decay. Hitting an enemy with Decay and then blasting them with lightning damage inflicts Miasma, which deals 12% of an enemies health over a period of 5 seconds. Miasma can stack nine times, totaling ''108% health damage over five seconds'', meaning Prince will melt any enemy he comes across. While this total is lowered to 4% against elites and 0.4% against bosses, efficient perks and strong guns mean that Crown Prince has probably the highest damage potential in the game. And the kicker? That short stun gives you just enough time to set the combo up.

** Li, by virtue of being a DLC character, is a fairly powerful character, especially due to her element being fire, which nearly every enemy is vulnerable to due to it being effective against health. Her Spiritual Flame can be charged up before firing and with the right ascensions can become a blazing fireball of death that can wipe out enemies en mase to the point where one doesn't need to use their weapons. Of course, this is balanced out by the fact she is a GlassCannon that can die quickly if one isn't careful, but the damage output this fox can produce can make that a non-issue.

** The Veteran scroll, provided you have it by the time you reach Duo Fjord, can be used to completely neuter all difficulty due to its permanent health bonus, with an AbsurdlyHighLevelCap of ''99,999'' extra health points. This is achievable by encountering a Corrupt Monk and having it infinitely spawn Exploding Lantern Spirits that the player can farm for extra health points as much as they like, allowing whoever has the scroll to render themselves NighInvulnerable provided they (and, in multiplayer games, their teammates) don't mind taking the time to do so. Naturally this game-breaking advantage extends to any effects that scale with health, such as Enduring Caster's skill damage bonus. The only downsides are that farming is slow & tedious, Veteran isn't a common scroll to find, and it can only be exploited like this after already making it through half of the game.
** For Reincarnation difficulities, if Ao Bai gets the "Atomic Bomb" Unique Spiritual Blessing, then expect Ao Bai to just obliterate everything especially if players get Talents that increase his explosion damage, radius, and the ability to throw two grenades for the price of one. Coupled with a few scrolls that enhance his secondary skills like "Double Exhilaration"[[note]]Doubles secondary capacity[[/note]], "Untold Effort"[[note]]50% chance to double the damage of secondary with a 50% chance to double the consumption[[/note]] or skills in general like "Brutal Gloves"[[note]]+35% Weapon/Skill DMG to non Crit-Hits.[[/note]] and "Spirit Bibile"[[note]]+120% skill damage[[/note]] and watch as Ao Bai's damage goes through the roof.
