Adding to this is that unlike Magnifico, whose reception has led to copious amounts of AlternativeCharacterInterpretation, the Shredder has no such qualms]].

* HilariousInHindsight: While this is merely an implication, [[spoiler: the fic's killing of Hans would later prophesize ''Franchise/KingdomHearts'''s implied death of Hans, rather than it being explicit]].

* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: Like [=Iron117Prime=]'s earliest work, his Author's Notes, especially in this fic (justified that it is his first one) tended to be in the form of Omakes featuring other fictional characters. This also denotes his earlier approach and writing style. Midway though, he transitions into the style he's known in ''Code Prime'' to the point that he ditches the Omakes and goes for more straightforward Author's Notes.

* HarsherInHindsight: In ''Into the Unknown'', Shredder manages to utilize the scientific arm of the Foot Clan to [[spoiler: obtain ice powers of his own, essentially making him somewhat of an {{Expy}} of ''Franchise/MortalKombat'''s Sub-Zero]]. This ages quite ominously when, in ''VideoGame/MortalKombat1'', [[spoiler: the New Timeline's iteration of Sub-Zero proves to be rather antagonistic to the point that he starts the Lin Kuei's Cyber Initiative]].

* HeartwarmingInHindsight: Though it is justified in the fic that it takes place long after her HeelFaceTurn, Karai debuts in the fanfic already siding with the Turtles. This would later be the case in ''WesternAnimation/RiseOfTheTeenageMutantNinjaTurtles'', where [[spoiler: that series' iteration of Karai starts ''already good'']].
