* HilariousInHindsight: After her villain turn her, [[spoiler:Nicolette Langley]] would turn around and be the one who gets tied up and gagged and subjected to a MotiveRant at the climax of Lifetime's ''Film/PartyFromHell''.

* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: Is April simply an incredibly loyal friend of Taylor's, or is she actually in love with? She's never shown expressing any interest in boys, Taylor appears to be her only friend, and [[spoiler: she's ready and willing to hurt or kill anyone she thinks is hurting Taylor. Some of April's statements during her MotiveRant and the fact that one of her targets is Taylor's boyfriend speak to the possibility of April being a PsychoLesbian]].

* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: The drone. It's very obviously CGI, its place in the story is very blatantly contrived, and it just looks sort of goofy when Darcy brings it to practice, looking more like something from Creator/DisneyChannel comedy than a Creator/{{Lifetime}} thriller. Then its getting used as a weapon is pure {{Narm}}.

* JerkassWoobie: [[spoiler:April]] is downright dangerous, but [[spoiler:her obvious mental health problems and clear self-esteem issues make you feel sorry for her]].
* NarmCharm: The final act is pretty silly--[[spoiler:April, a petite girl with a ChildLikeVoice,]] turns into a homicidal maniac, screaming "BUT YOU DIDN'T LISTEN TO ME! WHY DIDN'T YOU LISTEN TO ME?" over and over as she pours gasoline over Darcy. But [[spoiler:Nicolette Langley]] gives a nice HamAndCheese performance, stretching out practically every line, taking the situation to its max peak of absurdity. But it also has the effect of CrossesTheLineTwice and makes her genuinely disturbing, with Dominique Booth playing Darcy admirably straight to make the contrast between the two characters more stark.
