** It also stands as a surprisingly detailed and accurate deconstruction of the Nazis, who are here portrayed as so obsessed with hyping themselves as the "master race" and glorifying Hitler at the expense of everything else. As a result, they run [[FascistButInefficient an inefficient and incompetent war effort]] that impoverishes their citizens.

Acceptable Targets is now an index no longer allowing examples.

* AcceptableTargets: The cartoon insults Nazis generally, Hitler specifically. Could a target be any more acceptable? The racist caricatures of Japanese people (including Hirohito) are arguably exceptions, although certainly not at the time the cartoon was made. Here's a bit of historic context -- the idea of passing gas in Hitler's face would be considered somewhat crude nowadays, but back in the 1940s it was borderline ''obscene''. If the face being farted in was anybody ''but'' Hitler's, the song would never have seen the light of day.

Fits this item far better.

* CommonKnowledge: Thanks to the internet, a lot of people have heard that there's a Disney cartoon where Donald Duck is a Nazi. Very few of them, apparently, know that it's a scathing satire of Nazi Germany and instead assume that it's pro-Nazi propaganda (that is, of course, when they aren't also falsely interpreting it as "proof" of Creator/WaltDisney's supposed antisemitism). Hence, the cartoon is often accompanied with a NotMakingThisUpDisclaimer.

** The image of WesternAnimation/DonaldDuck performing the Nazi salute with a swastika armband was very popular on ImageBoards due to the sheer "what."-ness that it induced if you are unfamiliar with the cartoon.
