** Pretty much every original host that Su Lüxia is summoned to help, and what summons her in the first place.
** Arguably Feng Wushuang from the sixth arc. She was simply BornUnlucky and brought misfortune to everyone around her regardless of her intentions, resulting in the death of her family and leaving her an orphan before Jing Chen took her in. By the end of the arc, she is left as an old woman begging on the streets and completely alone.]] This is one of the worse fates Su Lüxia has left a rival to, especially since among all her opponents, Feng Wushuang's actions were out of naïve selfishness and ignorance rather than malice and greed. Misuse. Fail to explain the origin of the fandom sympathy for the villains.

* CryForTheDevil: Readers have expressed sympathy for the antagonists in several arcs, despite the contemptuous and despicable acts those characters commit. Key examples include: Min Mingzhe in the fifth arc, despite his dismissal of the protagonist's feelings playing a major part in her being DrivenToSuicide and Su Lüxia taking over; and Kawana Nanako in the tenth arc, even though she was a SerialHomewrecker (also leading a woman to commit suicide and drawing Su Lüxia into the scenario) and was happy to let Su Lüxia potentially become a sex slave to a yakuza mob.

* HollywoodHomely: Without her System or the superficial affection of men, Kawana Nanako loses her stunning beauty and regains her original looks. Her original face is still rather pretty with the largest difference being her freckles, but everyone around her reacts as if she's a hideous monster.

On the other hand Lüxia mentions that she could be successful again as long as she was willing to use all her skills so Nanako might be suffering from the side effects of hiding out in dirty alleyways surrounded by trash.

Complete Monster examples have to go through the clean-up thread before being added.

** Was Feng Wushuang really so innocent and naive as to be blind to the war going on around her and the issues she was causing? Or was she just so selfish that the problems others faced because of her didn't register with her as long as she was able to stay with Jing Chen and Bai Lixuan? In the story itself, she claimed to be unaware that Bai Lixuan had murdered people as she had not seen the bodies, but Su Lüxia even points out that as a Cultivator, she had senses beyond a normal human and there were a number of signs she should have noticed. Feng Wushuang argued that she had been sick at the time and thus couldn't have been aware, but it's questionable how true that is and it's clear that Su Lüxia doesn't believe her. Out of all the rivals Su Lüxia has dealt with, Feng Wushuang seems the least malicious or at least displays the least harmful intention in her actions. She doesn't try to hurt anyone, she just seems ignorant to the consequences and the implications in what she does. Given how a lot of her acts come out of love for both her master and her demon friend, it could be argued that this is a case of LoveMakesYouDumb.
** Is Jing Chen truly a good man making the best of a bad situation or a MagnificentBastard who has plotted everything from the beginning? Were his actions for the destruction of the demon clan and ultimate good of the world or were they born out of a sense of detachment as the world around him wasn't "real" and thus its people weren't worth caring about? Had he truly only been using Feng Wushuang from the start or was there a point where he did actually care about her before realizing that even that was something forced on him by the story? Did he plan the tragedies that Feng Wushuang caused or did he just take advantage of them in the moment? Jing Chen is one of the more complex characters of the series. He is a Taoist Master in a half-rate unfinished novel and is supposed to be a pillar of dignity and good, but due to the instability of the world he's in on account of being left unfinished, he starts to gain more awareness of just how wrong things are, including this "role" he was meant to fill and even the emotions he has felt up until that point. Thus, he is seeking a means to escape regardless of the price to the people around him as they don't seem "real" to him. Does this make him a CompleteMonster or a sympathetic person trying to escape a life he was literally written in to despite his own wishes?
* CompleteMonster: Arguably a number of the rivals and scumbags that require Su Lüxia's intervention in the first place.
** An Sheng Sheng had been dating Lüxia for some time only to boost his own acting career. He ultimately betrays her and drugs Lüxia as part of a plot for her to be raped by a married CEO she had previously rejected in exchange for a leading role in a movie. He also exposed the recordings of the assault and follows this up by having internet proxies smear her so she is defamed as a willing home wrecker. This ruins her name and her life, ultimately resulting in her suicide. And he plotted this out just so he could take her place as the Movie King. At no point does he ever admit what he did and he only ever expresses remorse for any of it for a single moment at her grave after her death, after which he is considered "redeemed" by the narrative and goes on to live a happy, guilt-free life. It's no wonder that Su Lüxia calls bullshit and decides to ruin him.
** Pu Xiaozhen is an arrogant and relentless bully who happily takes advantage of her wealth and status to torment others. She bullied her Lüxia to the point of suicide, sent her cronies to attack people, and even orchestrated the kidnap and gang rape of her adopted sister, and because of the ProtagonistCenteredMorality of the original novel, she won in the end in her original story. Even after Su Lüxia arrives, she only continues with her bullying and uses her status to get Lüxia's parents fired for no other reason than that Su Lüxia finally fought back.
** Bai Lixuan is a demon who has countless murders to his name. He doesn't care about anyone except Feng Wushuang and sees nothing wrong with killing, as he considers the lives of anyone else to be pointless.
** Su Mingyue orchestrates the attempted rape and defamation of her older half sister, Ziyue, in order to force her out of the running as a candidate to marry the Emperor so she can take her place. Because of the standards at the time, this would result in her sister being forced to marry her would be assaulter on the grounds of them supposedly having a relationship. Mingyue fully admits that she planned this and even appears quite happy to note that the man Ziyue would be forced to marry is a womanizing sadist and may end up killing her. After Su Lüxia takes over as Ziyue, Mingye continues with her attempts to remove Ziyue by any means necessary, including implicating her to the Emperor multiple times for various offenses, framing her for poisoning their grandmother, then framing her own mother for the crime when she was caught and forcing her suicide, and ultimately attempts the same trick as the first time by trying to send Ziyue into a trap where she would be assaulted by the same man as before.
** Tang Mengying was a woman who found herself back in time ten years and chose to plagiarize popular authors from the future and write their works as her own before they can. Given the use of time travel and technically publishing her stories first, there's no one who can call her out on it. But what firmly puts her in this category is that the latest story she stole and published as her own about a person with leukemia was originally written by an actual leukemia patient who had used the funds gained from that published work to pay for her treatment. With her book stolen from her before she could write it, the focus that the book brought to the issue of leukemia was lost and the original author also lost the chance to obtain the funds for her own care. This is enough to enrage Su Lüxia when she finds out.
** Kawana Nanako in the tenth arc has use of her own affection system that allows her to conquer the hearts of men and obtain boosts to her stats as a result. She uses this to make herself beautiful and desirable, and in turn creates a continuous loop of enhancing her beauty to target more men to get more points. She becomes so DrunkWithPower that she disregards the notion of love and actively targets men who are already in relationships because she feels it's more exciting, resulting in numerous broken families and lives. Her victims become so many that the combined resentment summons Su Lüxia as a tulpa instead of into any specific host body. Once she knows she has a rival who is actually capable of fighting back, she resorts to even more underhanded means such as blackmail, implicating her to the media, getting guys to assault her, and attempted murder to try to get rid of her.

Thus, he is seeking a means to escape regardless of the price to the people around him as they don't seem "real" to him. Does this make him a CompleteMonster or a sympathetic person trying to escape a life he was literally written in to despite his own wishes?

** Was Feng Wushuang really so innocent and naive as to be blind to the war going on around her and the issues she was causing? Or was she just so selfish that the problems others faced because of her didn't register with her as long as she was able to stay with Jing Chen and Bai Lixuan? In the story itself, she claimed to be unaware that Bai Lixuan had murdered people as she had not seen the bodies, but Su Lüxia even points out that as a Cultivator, she had senses beyond a normal human and there were a number of signs she should have noticed. Feng Wushuang argued that she had been sick at the time and thus couldn't have been aware, but it's questionable how true that is. It's is and it's clear that Su Lüxia doesn't believe her.
** Is Jing Chen truly a good and honorable man making the best of a bad situation or a MagnificentBastard who has plotted everything from the beginning? Were his actions for the destruction of the demon clan and ultimate good of the world or were they born out of a sense of detachment as the world around him wasn't "real" and thus its people weren't worth caring about? Had he truly only been using Feng Wushuang from the start or was there a point where he did actually care about her before realizing that even that was something forced on him by the story? ** Arguably Feng Wushuang from the sixth arc. She was born under a star of calamity and brings misfortune to everyone around her regardless of her intents. This results in the death of her family and leaves her an orphan before Jing Chen takes her in. She suffered an unrequited love towards Jing Chen, [[spoiler:whom it is revealed only saw her as a tool and used her as a means to help weaken and kill the other man she loved and the only one who loved her. * Kawana Nanako in the tenth arc has use of her own affection system that allows her to conquer the hearts of men and obtain boosts to her stats as a result.

* ** Tang Mengying was a woman who found herself back in time ten years and chose to plagiarize popular authors from the future and write their works as her own before they can.
