** Unlike the comics where she joines the heroes in her second appearance, Tenebris firmly remains [[DaddysLittleVillain on her Darkhell's side]] thought she's not devoid of sympathetic moments.
** In an odd way, Skroa the cunnning qualifies. While he wasn't more sympathetic in the comics, by having more appearances on the show he gets a bigger rapsheet. He outright attempts mass murders in his first two episodes and unlike Darkhell is played seriously (...[[VillainDecay at first]]). His FreudianExcuse of spending 50 years as Darkhell's lab rat is also unmentioned.

Added DiffLines:

* VillainDecay: Skroa in his first episode plots to feed an entire village to a monster and in his second episode, attempts to nuke a city almost succeeding in both cases. In his later appearances, he has much lower schemes and at one point gets easily captured by Tenebris. Come "Un Sale Gamin" (A bad kid), he simpy tries to brainwashes everyone into acting like juvenile children and ends up comedically humiliated.
* WeWillMeetAgain: Darkhell, Tenebris and Skroa (the only recuring villains) often swears revenge upon defeat.

Added DiffLines:

* AdaptationalHeroism:
** Prince Halan is still a jerk who's bitter about Jadina breaking off their engagement but he respects her decision [[spoiler: and never collaborates with villains to win her back]].
** To a lesser extent, Darkhell is this combined with AdaptationalWimp; his villainy is significantly toned down from the OmnicidalManiac from the comics who was infamous for burning villages before the Jovenia incident and attempted to destroy the world of elfes upon his return. Here his schemes usually just amounts to TakeOverTheWorld. He also has a few PetTheDog like giving the Legendaries a MercyLead at Tenebris' request or releasing an HostageForMacGuffin once he gets what he wanted.

Added DiffLines:

* AdaptedOut:
** Darkhell's good half Elysio has yet to appear.
** While Jadina's mother Queen Adeyrid regularly appears in episodes taking place in Orchedia, her father King Kinder is conspicuously absent.

!!''Les Légendaires'' provides examples of the following tropes:

* AdaptationalWimp: Darkhell is more ineffectual than in the comic.
* AlternateContinuity: The series is based on the Pre-Anathos cycle era of the comicbook but it takes many liberties. Darkhell and Skroa make more appearances, Tenebris isn't in prison, and [[AdaptedOut Elysio is nowhere to be seen]].

* CometOfDoom: In "The Register of The Lotus", a black comet allows Skro to summon a Bufankor.
* ConvectionSchmonvection: In the first episode, Danael notes that it's getting hot as they reach the volcano but no one has any problem to stand near the lava.
