** Kid!Anakin in Film/ThePhantomMenace was mostly a tag along kid with no real sins of becoming the terrifying warlord who would help the Emperor rule the Galaxy. Here, he’s shown to turn to the Dark Side at the slightest sign of disagreement with him.
** [[WesternAnimation/StarWarsRebels Agent Kallus]] lacks the nuances to his character that were shown in the episode the series parodies.
* ArtShift: After Anakin says to “think like it’s a video game”, the next scene plays out like an [[PacManFever 8-bit arcade game]].
* BrickJoke: At the start of episode 3, Threepio asks a kid with a set of Rebel-themed collectors cards if his is in there. At the end of the story he tells next, he finds the card, which depicts him cowering in fear.
* ButtMonkey: Chewbacca. His medal for blowing up the Death Star is destroyed before he can receive it and C-3PO hijacks his and Nien Nunb’s vacation to rescue R2.
* IntroDump: When the crew of the Ghost are introduced, a trading card for them appears, accompanied by Threepio narrating their basic character descriptions.
