* BonesDoNotBelongThere: While eating the table leg, Gus Gorilla finds a giant bone in it as if it were a leg of meat.
* EarlyInstallmentCharacterDesignDifference: Betty Boop of course is shown as an anthropomorphized poodle. In later cartoons, her design would be changed into a human by turning her dog nose into a button nose and her dog ears into hoop earrings. Her wardrobe still consists of a LittleBlackDress except that it has a large bow in the back and she's wearing visible stockings.
