However, some can end up closed for other reasons: either the page qualifies for a "speedy" deletion, so a discussion is redundant; the nominator withdraws without objection for others; no clear consensus in either direction is formed after several weeks; or the nomination is obvious {{Troll}}ing.

As per edit-request thread, in part: Bias Steamroller is a rather questionable YMMV-like trope whereby a media critic is taken to task over a perceived excess of personal preference over objectivity. Bluenose Bowdlerizer seems wrong, or at least over-general: Wikipedia has a wealth of pages where accuracy is put ahead of the typical censorship targets. Distracted By The Sexy seems like a misapplication: that\'s a character being distracted by another attractive character and usually getting into an accident as a result. Possibly The Wiki Rule could apply, but as written it was sniping. The Internet Is For Porn when applied to real life seems like a common personal habit elevated into a excessive generalization, esp when applied to a diverse site like this one. Take It To The Forums is written as an \'aversion\', taking aversion to mean negation when it\'s something much more specific.

* BiasSteamroller: Many academics still dismiss the validity of Wikipedia entirely, regardless of the fact that most of the information on the site is verifiable.
