For an informal example, the wiki initially referred to ''Franchise/StreetFighter''[='=]s [[Characters/StreetFighterMBison Dictator character]] under the "Vega" name, since his relevant ''Transformers'' toy was Japan-exclusive for four years (Japan-only stuff means Japanese name under wiki policy, his page noted); Hasbro announcing they'd bring said toy to America in 2022 allowed the wiki to finally call him "M. Bison."

** The page for [[https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Canon Canon]] captions several pictures of absurd things with variations of "This is canon", such as Megatron shooting at Cliffjumper (whose headlights are eyes for some reason) from a giant car, [[Franchise/StarWars Darth Vader]] fighting Optimus Prime, a SuperDeformed illustration of Rattrap, and [[Film/{{Transformers}} Bumblebee lubricating on Agent Simmons]].

** The "[[Film/{{Transformers}} Bonecrusher Hates Everything]]" gag on his page was cut down after a while, with a commented-out note telling contributors not to add more.

** Many, many articles take jabs at the fandom's bad attitude regarding new entries, and changes major or minor. They even have a page on things that ruined the franchise "FOREVER!" It basically lists everything the franchise has ever produced.

* TakeThatAudience: The page for the old Prizes in Disguise contest from 1986 has this caption.

** Certain pieces of work such as ''ComicBook/TheBeastWithin'', ''Transformers Continuum'', and ''[[WebAnimation/TheTransformersCombinerWars Combiner Wars]]'' are often cited for their horribleness. In the former's case, the error that's listed? "This comic was produced."

** The page on B.O.T. is ''brimming'' with these, all aimed directly at the episode.

* SesquipedalianLoquaciousness: The articles on Humans, and hot dogs, describe both in the most formal tones possible. Additionally, Perceptor's articles as noted in SelfDemonstratingArticle above, and the opening paragraph to Franchise/SpiderMan's article is this trope applied to his ''theme song''.

* NotThatTheresAnythingWrongWithThat: After formerly having an utter ball heavily implying that [[https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Tracks_(G1) G1 Tracks]] is [[AmbiguouslyGay gay]], they say in the notes section:

That said, however, their page for ''Rise of the Beasts'' does have a continuity section where they admit that as the time-gap between the "prequels" and Bay's films narrow (''Rise of the Beasts'' is set during a time period when Bumblebee was supposed to be the only Transformer on Earth according to Bay's films), it becomes increasingly difficult to justify ''Film/{{Bumblebee}}'' and ''Film/TransformersRiseOfTheBeasts'' as being in continuity with Bay's films unless future movies actually start making attempts to address this, [[spoiler: which considering that ''Rise of the Beasts'' ends with Noah being given an offer to join G.I.
