''[[http://varioushappenings.com/ Various Happenings]]'' is a [[GothicHorror gothic]]-inspired fantasy webcomic by J.M. Havens about a young lady who meets another at a bus stop and is dragged rather unwillingly into a web of posturing and plotting by things much bigger than herself. With her new friend, she must now deal with trying to find her own answers while trying to survive the [[TitleDrop various happenings]] that occur as a result.

Comic updates generally on Fridays (though it stumbled with a bit of [[Schedule Slip] early on.)

* DarkSkinnedBlond: Cassandra is this (at least in her official art, it's harder to tell in the comic), but she seems to lack the ditzy personality.
* EeriePaleSkinnedBrunette: Edwina, to a T, [[spoiler: especially when you consider she moves around at lightning speed without actually apparently moving.]]
* GlowingEyes: Everything in [[spoiler: Hell]] seems to do this, even the cute things like Scooter and the graveworms.
* OfficiallyShortenedTitle: Originally "The Various Happenings of Edwina Tucker" after the name of the blog it originated from, it was shortened to just "Various Happenings" sometime during the middle of the first chapter.
* RightBehindMe: A graveworm sneaks up behind Scooter as he's listening in on the mysterious conversation in the graveyard, startling him and causing him to run right into the midst of it (and trouble.) [[spoiler:In fact, both Oracles end up sneaking up on him shortly there after. At the third time, he's simply not having any of it.]]
