The comic is about a pair of childhood friends, Billy and Kirika; Billy is a human boy while Kirika is an oni girl. Their parents made an agreement that they would get married to each other once they reached adulthood. Of course, as the pair entered their high school years, Kirika had grown from a sweet, lovable little girl to an aloof, tough-as-nails tomboy and, because of that, it's quite difficult for Billy to finally advance their relationship after 10 years of knowing each other. Of course, what he doesn't really know is that Kirika is still that little girl deep down and clearly still likes Billy, but is too shy and insecure about being an oni to reciprocate.
