* ChekhovsGunman: In every flashback to Billy and Kirika's childhood, there's been a dark-haired little girl seething in jealousy over their relationship in the background. A later strip reintroduces this girl in the present day, showing that she's become Billy's StalkerWithACrush and hinting that she'll have a larger presence in the plot going forward.

The comic is about a pair of childhood friends, Billy and Kirika; Billy is a human boy while Kirika is an oni girl. Their parents made an agreement that they would get married once they reached adulthood. Of course, once the pair enter their high school years, Kirika had grown from a sweet little girl to an aloof, tough-as-nails tomboy and, because of that, it's quite difficult for Billy to finally advance their relationship after 10 years of knowing each other. Of course, what he doesn't really know is that Kirika is still that little girl deep down and clearly still likes Billy, but is too shy and insecure about being an oni to reciprocate. Will these two ever develop the romance they both very much desire?
