* {{Asleep in Class}}: Maria in Episode 3 and David in Episode 13.

* {{Badass Adorable}}: So far David, Felix, Cody and Maria all apply.

* {{Badass in Distress}}: Cody was ''not'' having a good time in Episodes 20-28, what with him giving in to the sedative, and being captured and tortured by Kris and Beanpole.

* {{Bad Boss}}: Uxio. From the jump he's [[{{Jerkass}} rude and dismissive]], treating strangers, children and his own employees with contempt.

* {{Antagonist in Mourning}}: AntagonistInMourning: A lot of Beanpole's hatred towards Cody stems from the fact that Cody murdered his "companion". The exact nature of their relationship is yet to be revealed.

* {{Art Evolution}}: ArtEvolution: When Lalin's Curse was re-released as a Webtoon Original in 2019, Episodes 0-2 and some of Episode 3 were completely redrawn, making it clear to see how much Isaky's art style had improved over that time, and again so when the story picks up where it left off from Episodes 16 onwards.

* {{Beware the Nice Ones}}: David and Cody are pretty mild-mannered for the most part, but between their top-tier powers and shared tendency to let anger, anxiety and/or protectiveness get to their head, they can both be very dangerous.

* {{Big Creepy Crawlies}}: Massive bug-like creatures are found around the spirit world equivalent of Felix's bedroom window in Episode 9.

* {{Big Friendly Dog}}: Coco, David's golden retriever.

* {{Big Guy Little Guy}}: Eric and Cody.

* {{Bilingual Bonus}}: Unsurprising for a story set in Spain, some key words are written in Spanish, though often with a translation alongside.

* {{Bitch in Sheeps Clothing}}: As evident in Episode 11, Uxio is the type to put on a charming, polite air to get people to do what he wants (in this case, get David to follow him to a "hospital"). Naturally, it doesn’t work, since Uxio literally yelled at and manhandled David just seconds prior.

* {{Blessed with Suck}}/{{Cursed with Awesome}}: David’s ability to see paranormal entities and heal himself ''would'' be pretty cool if only people actually believed him. Not to mention how his telekinesis outburst left his house a complete mess in Episode 18. Also, his powers take a toll on him the more he uses them (so far he's just had a nosebleed, but Isaky has confirmed that it'll get worse over time).
