* AdaptationalWimp: Dabe is a [[Main/NakedPeopleAreFunny perpetually naked]] crybaby who is subservient to Jhon, as opposed to his [[Main/TheStoic unflappably stoic]] original.

** Jhon kills [[spoiler:Swet Bro]] by throwing a pickaxe out of his window. The comedy comes in when he quickly but softly falls to the ground.

* MoralMyopia: From Hecka Jef's perspective, Rose is the jerk for trying to keep Jhon alive even though he murdered [[spoiler:Swet Bro]]. This is before we learn from a flashback that he and Swet Bro allowed the Biig Man to get injured and [[spoiler:turned insane]] by Borb because they were going to miss a plane.

* OffTheRails: There is an internally consistent plot among the scribbles and jokes, but it's nothing like the one of ''Homestuck''. [[spoiler:The gag about Jhon killing Swet Bro ends up forming a greater story about Hecka Jef trying to avenge him, eventually leading in to a borderline war between his side and Rose's side as of Act 4.]]

* PoliceAreUseless: There's blood all over the floor, Jhon is eating a cake with [[spoiler: Swet Bro's body parts]], and we get this exchange:

* SociopathicHero: This is an accurate description of Jhon, who kills [[spoiler:Swet Bro]] and cuts off his father's hand while showing no remorse. He also casually abandons Rose to die because he would rather play ''[=RollerCoaster=] Tycoon'' than SBURB, even though she informs him of the consequences. The fact that he does these things independently of the reader commands makes it even more terrifying... [[ComedicSociopathy or hilarious.]]

* ArtEvolution: As the comic goes on, the "real" characters are drawn fairly well with regards to their actual appearance, and their quality improves each time they're shown.

''[[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=14113 cool and new web comic]]'' is a [[FanWebcomics fancomic]] that can be accurately described as ''Webcomic/{{Homestuck}}'' meets ''Webcomic/{{Dolan}}'', written by someone under the screen name "[[AnonymousAuthor o]]". It is a parody of ''Homestuck'' where everything, save for a few characters, is [[StylisticSuck very crudely made]], to the likes of ''Webcomic/SweetBroAndHellaJeff'', whose characters are also featured in the comic. It began April 10, 2016, and soon became a cult classic among the fandom, particularly the Homestuck [[Website/{{Reddit}} subreddit]].

* TheHerosBirthday: Just like ''Homestuck'', the story starts on John's--or in this case, Jhon's--birthday. He could [[SociopathicHero hardly be called a hero, though.]]
