* SoBadItsGood: The episodes all got a lot of likes on Website/YouTube, which is saying something, considering that the series is full of StylisticSuck.

[[StylisticSuck Unfortunately, the show itself doesn't look good at all.]] [[TroubledProduction The budget was tight, and there wasn't a single member of the production crew who was good at their job.]] As a result, the finished product looked so bad, the show got canceled before the first episode could even air, and as such, [[LostMedia the show never saw the light of day]]... until decades later in 2023, when a {{YouTuber|s}} named WebVideo/StevenHe, who happens to be the grandson of the show's creator, discovered old copies of the show in his house and decided to upload episodes of the show to Website/YouTube, thus giving it the attention it never got when it was first created.

''Ginormo!'' is a Japanese {{Toku}} TV series created in the early 1970s. The show follows the Super Protection Force (SPF 51), a government organization dedicated to protecting the world from [[{{Kaiju}} giant monsters out to destroy the city of Tokyo]], many of whom are created by an evil organization called the Beast Advanced Artillery Division (BAAD), who seek world domination. Led by the old but dedicated and determined [[TheLeader Commander Yakamoto]], members of the team include Kimmie, the [[TheSmartGuy intelligent communications officer]], Munchie, the jumpy and nervous chief engineer who can be seen [[BigEater eating at times]], Mikko, an agent who is one of the best on the force, and Yuki, Mikko's little sister, the [[TagalongKid youngest and newest member of the team]], and the commander of [[HumongousMecha Ginormo, a giant mech created by the SPF.]]

[[StylisticSuck Unfortunately, the show itself doesn't look good at all.]] [[TroubledProduction The budget was tight, and there wasn't a single member of the production crew who was good at their job.]] As a result, the finished product looked so bad, the show got canceled before the first episode could even air, and as such, [[LostMedia the show never saw the light of day]]... until decades later in 2023, when a {{YouTuber}} named WebVideo/StevenHe, who happens to be the grandson of the show's creator, discovered old copies of the show in his house and decided to upload episodes of the show to Website/YouTube, thus giving it the attention it never got when it was first created.

So yeah, as you might've just guessed, ''Ginormo!'' is in fact a WebVideoSeries that parodies the {{Toku}} series shown during the Showa era in Japan. WebVideo/StevenHe stars in this series alongside other {{YouTubers}}, such as Alan Chikin Chow, Jeenie Weenie, Nathan Doan, Kris Collins, Joma, Steven Ho, Ian Boggs, Jennings Brower, and Lauren Kim.

!! This series provides examples of...
* ActionGirl: Kimmie and Yuki are the two most prominent female members of SPF 51. Don't believe me? Just watch Episode 4.
* AllLoveIsUnrequited: Kimmie has a crush on Mikko, and a RunningGag in the series has her trying to find ways to show him her feelings for him, but he never gets the idea, much to her chagrin.
* BigBad: Lord Metagon, the commander of BAAD.
* BigEater: Munchie.
* CowardlyLion: Munchie is prone to panicking at times when things look intense.
* ExtremelyShortIntroSequence: "G-I-N-O-R-M-O Ginormo! He's like a robot! But really really really big!" (begin episode)
* HumongousMecha: Ginormo is one. [[LampshadedTrope The intro sequence lampshades this.]]
* IsThisThingStillOn: While filming the third episode, the cameraman forgets to stop filming when the director yells "Cut!", and it takes a while for the cast and crew to realize that the camera's still running. Even though they turn it off after that, the editing team left the long take in.
* MeaningfulName: Munchie can be seen eating stuff at times.
* ObliviousToLove: Mikko never seems to realize that Kimmie is in love with him.
* SoBadItsGood: The episodes all got a lot of likes on Website/YouTube, which is saying something, considering that the series is full of StylisticSuck.
* StylisticSuck: The show looks poorly made. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]], as the production crew had no idea what they were doing, and they had a small budget.
* TagalongKid: Yuki is only a teenage girl, yet she's working at SPF 51.
* TroubledProduction: In-Universe, the people making the show had a hard time doing it properly, resulting in the show looking so bad that it never aired, and we're only seeing it today because the creator's grandson just so happened to uncover it.
