* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Spons, a kite who presents the video's sponsor, makes Caddy unamused whenever he shows up.

Jim Caddick, better known by the pen name "Caddicarus", is a British Website/YouTube personality who hosts a VideoReviewShow that reviews just about anything video-game related you can think of, though he has a strong affinity towards video games from and related to the UsefulNotes/PlayStation era of gaming. While he originally uploaded in-depth reviews of single games on a usually weekly basis, he switched to his current format of longer videos covering several different games of a similar category in 2020, which are the videos he is best known for.

* IdiosyncraticEpisodeNaming: Beginning with Season 14, the videos have titles in the form of "The [X] World of [Y]".

** In a general sense, since he started the "The X World of Y" format, whenever the topic leads him to talk about a game he talked about before, he'll often quote or reference a joke from the first video.

* ObviousJudas: [[invoked]] In the review of ''VideoGame/LegoKnightsKingdom'', after seeing the ObviouslyEvil Lord Vladek, who wears dark armor and ominously tells the main character that his skills will be needed in the days to come, be described as the king's most trusted knight, Caddy sarcastically expresses surprise when Vladek betrays the king.
