A long time ago, there were two kingdoms in France that had been at war for a long time. On one side was King Croissant, and his son the snidely Prince Deja Vu. On the other side was King Souffle, and his daughter princess Creme Brule. In King Croissant's court was a small painter named Pierre Bon Voyage Et Fromage, who was widely regarded for his artistic skills.
One day, Pierre suggests to King Croissant that Prince Deja Vu marry Princess Creme Brule to end the war between them. Prince Deja Vu, however, refuses on the grounds that since no one has seen Princess Creme Brule, there's a chance she might be hideous. So, King Croissant sends Pierre to paint a portrait of the princess. When Pierre sees Creme Brule, it's LoveAtFirstSight for him.
