* In the very first episode "The Terror Of Tal'Dorei Part I", Vex calls on Keyleth in the heat of battle with Brimscythe to use her magic and later gets aggravated that Keyleth [[HeroicBSOD freezes up in panic and fear]]. However in the 5th episode "Fate's Journey" Vex passive-agressively tells Keyleth she'll "get [her] shit together eventually" and in the 9th episode "The Tide Of The Bone", when Keyleth [[spoiler: successfully uses her powers to create a massive ice barrier to freeze a horde of murderous zombies]] and Vax [[ShipTease proudly tells Keyleth she's amazing]] Vex impatiently says "Yes, yes she's the tits. We still have to go!". This could mean that maybe Vex ''knows full well'' that Keyleth is [[AlwaysSomeoneBetter more powerful than her]] and is mad that Keyleth has ''all'' these abilities that Vex ''never will'' and she can't use them properly. Especially since even though Vex'ahlia is a [[ArcherArchetype gifted archer]] and fighter, she's also the [[BadAssNormal only female member of Vox Machina with no magical abilities.]]

* One last possible reason for Vex'ahlia's former jealousy and resentment of Keyleth is that as a druid Keyleth has the power to [[SpeaksFluentAnimal talk to any species of animal]]. This includes species of bears, and [[SarcasmMode who in Vox Machina do we know owns a bear?]] Even though we never see her do it on-screen, this means Keyleth can talk to Trinket while Vex can't. In Vex's eyes, Keyleth isn't just stealing her brother away, she's stealing her ''pet'' too.

* Another possible reason for Vex's initial animosity towards Keyleth could be their different upbringings. We get a glimpse of this in "The Terror Of Tal Dorei Part 2" [[spoiler: after Vox Machina is rewarded Greyskull Keep for slaying Brimscythe the Dragon]] when Keyleth happily gushes how she can't wait to tell her dad about what happened and hugs the twins, unlike Vax'ildan, who smiles at Keyleth, Vex [[DeathGlare glares daggers at her]]. Stockholm Syndrome is a disambiguation

In the original, Cassandra flat out stated that she's a Briarwood while under their influence (MindManipulation, MoreThanMindControl, StockholmSyndrome, FaceHeelTurn, or all of the above). So, Delilah referring to Percy as "the pup who survived" is because to her, he ''is'' the last de Rolo.

How, if at all, Taryon would be integrated into the story of the animated series, I couldn't guess -- Scanlan being PutOnABus only to be immediately replaced with another character played by Sam Riegel is a trope that works perfectly well at a gaming table but would be rather bewildering the new medium. But, as was highlighted in the stream on the one occasion Scanlan and Taryon had a conversation with each other, the two sound exactly the same. My guess here is that Scanlan was made more American in the animated series as foresight for the debut of Tary, who will sound more English, as befits his posh personality in comparison to the crass Scanlan.

* Even in the game Scanlan leaving and then the group immediately meeting Tary wasn't how it was supposed to happen and was due to a miscommunication between Matt and Sam. Tary was supposed to be introduced the following episode and the team would meet him wherever they had chosen to go to next, which is likely how it'll go in the show. This will put some in universe time between the two events and they may even be separated by season breaks.

[[WMG: Scanlan's voice is in preparation for Taryon]]
The majority of Vox Machina sound more English in the animation than they did around the gaming table -- exceptions being Keyleth and Pike, who always had American accents and now simply sound more quirky... and Scanlan, who sounded mid-Atlantic in the stream but fully American in the cartoon.

My guess here is that Scanlan was made more American in the animated series as foresight for the debut of Tary, who will sound more English.

[[WMG: Desmond will be a CompositeCharacter with Kynan]]
* Desmond [[WhatHappenedToTheMouse disappeared from the story]] after Percy shot off his fingers, so there was no scene of Percy apologizing and making a prosthetic for his hand. At the same time, Kynan hasn't appeared in the story to set up for his reappearance as one of Dr. Ripley's henchmen. While they might have simply written Kynan out of the story entirely for time, they could also use Desmond as the young man with a grievance against Vox Machina who TookALevelInBadass.

[[WMG: Percy's prosthesis hand is the animation incarnation of Diplomacy]]
In the original stream Percy had shock gauunlets which he used against Sylas Briarwood in fight at the ziggurat. However in the animation the were absent for the fight. Also unlike the stream where Percy was able to force Orthax out through sheer will, in the cartoon Percy had to shoot his own hand to hurt Orthax. This will result in Percy in having to replace his damaged hand with a prosthetic hand. Its likely that in the cartoon Percy hasn't invented Diplomacy yet but he would probably modify his prosthetic hand in the future so he would have a back up weapon in case his firearms fail. Turning it into Diplomacy would be a great way to bring the weapon into the show especially if in time for the fight against Dr Ripely.

* Confirmed, Percy refers to his prosthetic as Diplomacy.
