[[WMG: Alternatively, Ichigo Hoshimiya (featuring moves from other characters) will appear.]]
The face of Aikatsu, and the anime actually features action and moments that can be translated to Smash well (such as the infamous axe).

Whip It Good has been disambiguated

** He had a trophy in Melee that seemed more detailed than most, and much like the Ice Climbers, he had only appeared in a single game, and since they managed to make the Ice Climbers work, Mach still might have a chance. They could be creative with his moveset, giving him things like a chain whip, a laser blaster, and grenades. His Final Smash could be of him hopping on his motorcycle and riding around the stage, shooting the other players up.

Asskicking Leads To Leadership is the new name of the trope.

Hades has been one of the biggest success stories for roguelikes and Zagreus would definitely fit right in as a DeadpanSnarker with the cast members. He'd be a MultiMeleeMaster using the Arms of Olympus, his skins calling to mind the various denizens of the Underworld (for example, a mostly gray colored with white haired version for Thanatos), his Final Smash being a Call of Hades where he shows AsskickingEqualsAuthority and PapaWolf for his idiot son.

Up To Eleven is a defunct trope

We probably will never see every fighter from every Smash game again, so a way to top that is to retool the series into a real gaming all-stars fighter. Many more third-party series (possibly even from Sony and Microsoft if they're kind enough) will join the fight and the third-party series that are already represented will get a lot more secondary characters that aren't just Echo Fighters. Sakurai already said that he was trying to make Smash 4 a gaming all-stars game, so why not take it UpToEleven? (Other than budget concerns.) Obviously they would have to cut even more veterans than usual, which is why the term "retool" was used here.

*** Mio could also join Noah as a switch-in character like how Mythra is to Pyra. Considering how hard Xenoblade 3 leans into the "best of 1 and 2" concept, and how well Noah and Mio complement one another both as characters and in combat styles, they'd be perfect as a combination of both the previous games' fighters. Noah would play similar to Shulk with slower but hard-hitting positional attacks and a StanceSystem with Lucky Seven, while Mio would be a fast-hitting evader like Mythra or Sheik. Their Final Smash(es) would also be a double-reference to Shulk and [=Pyra/Mythra=], starting with a Chain Attack involving the other four Ouroboros (Lanz, Sena, Eunie, and Taion) and ending with an Ouroboros Order that changes depending on who you're controlling (Limits Unbound for Noah and Death By 1000 Cuts for Mio).

** Popplio
*** Again, this is another unlikely pick, but the chance of the water starter of Alola would be perfect for a LethalJokeCharacter like them. It would be an agile fighter who would be focused on long-ranged attacks using its bubbles. It's final smash would have it use it's Z-Move, Hydro Vortex, where it summons a whirlpool and starts lobbing several exploding bubbles into it before slamming itself into the whirlpool, causing it to explode.

*** With VideoGame/PokemonLegendsArceus taking on a more Action RPG style and the Trainer themselves being more directly involved, "passing on" the "Pokémon Trainer" character slot to Rei/Akari would be a fun idea. They would still primarily fight like the Kanto Trainer, using the Hisui starters - possibly Oshawott, Dartrix, and Hisuian Typhlosion (with Infernal Parade as its neutral special) to match the Kanto Trainer's team, or Cyndaquil, Dewott and Hisuian Decidueye (with Triple Arrows as its neutral special) for popularity's sake. But there would be a few moves where the Trainer in the background gets directly involved. For example, tapping Down B just results in a plain old Pokémon Change, but if the player holds Down B, they gain access to a radial menu (similar to Shulk) where they can switch to any of the three Pokémon at will or have the Trainer throw a balm, a Sticky Glob, a Smoke Bomb or a Scatter Bang to their Pokémon's current position, each of which has a different effect on surrounding foes. All three Pokémon could also have a shared up special where the Trainer calls on Hisuian Braviary to lift it in the air and glide. Similar to the Kanto Trainer, this new Pokémon Trainer would have palette swaps based on other playable Trainers from the series, including Red and Leaf themselves as a CallBack to Ultimate, as well as Rei's and Akari's modern counterparts Lucas and Dawn. Their Final Smash would either be Triple Finish (again, only with an added "Strong Style" visual effect just for funsies and the stylish text box from PLA), or where they summon Arceus itself to use Judgment.

** Kris. Given that Sans is a Mii Costume in Ultimate, representation from Toby Fox's games could expand to a playable Kris in Smash 6. They would have a moveset based around a Tension Points gimmick, where they collect TP based on how many attacks they dodge or graze (similar to the bullet-grazing mechanic from their home game) and summon Ralsei and Susie for some of their moves. Their Final Smash would be to summon the Thrash Machine and wail on foes. As for a home stage, something from the newest chapter of Deltarune as of Smash 6[='s=] release would fit best, but as of the time of writing Queen's Mansion would be a fun idea. Also think of the kickass music remixes that they'd bring with them!

They would still primarily fight like the Kanto Trainer, using the Hisui starters - possibly Oshawott, Dartrix, and Hisuian Typhlosion to match the Kanto Trainer's team, or Cyndaquil, Dewott and Hisuian Decidueye for popularity's sake.
