Forty years after ''SHUFFLE!'', a crisis threatened to rip apart all the worlds, known as ''The Great Collapse'', but was averted thanks to some people from the three worlds who together stopped TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt. But even after that, life continued as monotone as before, and the relations between the three worlds progressed and became commonplace.
