* BaitAndSwitch: The Boyfriend and the Girlfriend are CaughtInTheBadPartOfTown where they encounter a very sinister looking vulture armed with a bat, leading one to believe that this will be another mod where the opponent is out to kill them both. Nope, Avenue is one of the friendliest opponents encountered.

* CaughtInTheBadPartOfTown: Referenced by both the mod description and Avenue himself.
* ConnectedAllAlong: Avenue is an old bandmate of Daddy Dearest's from before the latter retired.

** He never flips out or becomes agitated when the Boyfriend wins, in fact if anything he becomes more friendlier as the songs go on.

* NiceGuy: Similar to [[VideoGame/VsHexMod Hex]], and [[VideoGame/SmokeEmOutStruggle Garcello]], Avenue isn't remotely antagonistic towards the Boyfriend or the Girlfriend, and indulges them in their hobby with gradually less reluctance.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: InUniverse. Avenue and Daddy Dearest scrapped a song they wrote since they thought it went against their usual style. Avenue sings it as the final song of the mod.
** It seems the unused song was reused into [=DadBattle=] from the main game.

[[caption-width-right:350:"Ahh fine. But don't expect nothin' fancy, okay?"]]

''[[https://gamebanana.com/mods/296107 Vulture Culture]]'' is a ''VideoGame/FridayNightFunkin'' GameMod created by leestei.

The Boyfriend and the Girlfriend enter a seedy bar in the bad side of town, where one particular patron catches their attention: Avenue, a debt collecting vulture. Challenging him to a rap battle, Avenue reluctantly agrees, but advises them to not expect much from him, having not sung in years.

The mod is notable for deviating from the usual ''FNF'' mod in a number of ways, toning down the difficulty in favor of focusing on the story surrounding Avenue and his history with Daddy Dearest.

* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CuCpgcInwE Collector]]
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLwCclqQ4RE Overdue]]
----
* AffablyEvil: Avenue, despite being a debt collector, is a rather pleasant fellow.
* BatterUp: Avenue is seen holding a bat, though he never actually uses it for anything. By his admission, it's mostly for intimidating his marks.
-->''"...And it counts as a business expense on my taxes."''
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: Avenue differs from previous mod opponents in a number of ways:
** His songs are relatively easy and never come close to how NintendoHard other mods do.
** He never flips out or becomes agitated when the Boyfriend wins.
** He's a former musician who has a past with Daddy Dearest, but instead of harboring a murderous hatred for him and/or his family, he speaks fondly of his time with him.
* FaceOfAThug: Despite his expression making him look absolutely AxCrazy, Avenue is nothing but polite and civil with the duo throughout.
* NiceGuy: Similar to [[VideoGame/VsHexMod Hex]], Avenue isn't remotely antagonistic towards the Boyfriend or the Girlfriend, and indulges them in their hobby with gradually less reluctance.
* PetTheDog: This mod retroactively makes ''Dad Battle'' from the original game one for Daddy Dearest; He used a scrapped song from his old rock band as the basis for one of his raps against the Boyfriend.
* SequelDifficultyDrop: Is quite a bit easier than [[NintendoHard most FNF mods]], focusing primarily on telling a story with [[AffablyEvil Avenue]].
* SharedFamilyQuirks: According to Avenue, Daddy Dearest brought giant speakers around everywhere he went just like the Girlfriend does.
* VileVulture: {{Subverted|Trope}}. Avenue is a very menacing looking debt collector of a vulture, but is quite amicable to the couple.
* WhamLine: Prior to ''Overdue'', Avenue reveals that he used to make music with Daddy Dearest, presumably as a member of his rock band before he retired, and the final song has him sing a tune they composed, but never released since they felt it didn't match the overall style of the rest of their music. Then about halfway in, he sings a few notes of ''Dad Battle'', indicating that Daddy Dearest didn't forget about that scrapped song either.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: InUniverse. Avenue and Daddy Dearest scrapped a song they wrote since they thought it went against their usual style. Avenue sings it as the final song of the mod.
