* PlayingWithFire: Grimlock can breathe fire in dinosaur mode. Sideswipe's default ranged weapon is a flamethrower. Blitzwing uses fire attacks when he's in tank mode. Most weapons have a fire-based variant, too. Such weapons can also get the Burn skill, which has a chance to set the opponent on fire.

'''''Transformers: Devastation''''' is a StylishAction BeatEmUp video game based on the ''Franchise/{{Transformers}}'' franchise, released on the 6th of October 2015 for the UsefulNotes/PlayStation4, UsefulNotes/XboxOne, UsefulNotes/PlayStation3, UsefulNotes/XBox360 and PC. Developed by Creator/PlatinumGames, the game is based on the ''Generation One'' era of the franchise; while ostensibly based on the recent Generations toyline, the game looks and sounds closer to [[WesternAnimation/TheTransformers the classic Sunbow cartoon]], and uses CelShading to achieve an aesthetic similar to it. To help round off the nostalgia-fest, many actors from the series, including Creator/PeterCullen (Optimus Prime), Creator/FrankWelker (Megatron/Soundwave), Creator/DanGilvezan (Bumblebee), Creator/GreggBerger (Grimlock/Long Haul) and Creator/MichaelBell (Sideswipe/Scrapper) [[RoleReprisal reprise their roles]].

* RoleReprisal: As noted above, as fitting a return to Generation 1, we have Creator/PeterCullen as Optimus Prime, Creator/FrankWelker as Megatron and Soundwave, Dan Gilvezan as Bumblebee, Creator/GreggBerger as Grimlock and Long Haul, and Creator/MichaelBell as Sideswipe and Scrapper. However, many characters have been recast: most of it has to do with the passing of several voice actors since the original cartoon ended (for example, Casey Kasem, voice of Teletraan 1, passed away earlier in 2015), but others have been recast despite their voice actors still being alive (Neil Ross being replaced as Bonecrusher, Creator/CoreyBurton being replaced as Shockwave) and in one case being present (Welker only reprises Megatron and Soundwave, with Rumble, Frenzy, Mixmaster, and Skywarp sporting different voice actors).
