''Radiant Arc'' is an UsefulNotes/RPGMaker MV game developed by [=Linky317=] and Ori in 2019.

The world was created by the Holy Beings, but one of them, Zardon, grew jealous of the leader Irin. He stole his brethren's Grand Crystal and used it to create demonic beings known as Moria, and had them lay waste to the world. In response, Irin chose a hero, the Radiant Arc, to gather allies and seal away Zardon. The Grand Crystal is then split into seven shards for safekeeping. However, the second coming of the Radiant Arc will be needed in order to defeat the Morians, who are now being led by Seperus.

* MadBomber: Kagan is an evil jester working for the Morians, who specializes in throwing bombs.
* ManaBurn: Seperus [[spoiler:and Zardon]] specialize in skills that damage the party's MP, making them hard to deal with unless the party has SP regenerating accessories, allowing them to fall back on SP skills.
* MightyGlacier: Despite having CastFromHitPoints skills, [[spoiler:Derek]] counts as this trope because he can also apply Lifesteal to himself, has decent defenses, and high HP, which allows him to compensate for the costs of his skills. He's also one of the slowest characters so that he's balanced compared to other physical DPS characters.
* MonsterClown: Kagan is a jester who takes sadistic pleasure in killing people for the Morians' cause. He's also a literal case, being a [[TranshumanTreachery former human]] who was converted into a demon by the Morians.
* MoreThanMindControl: [[spoiler:Derek accepts the Morians' offer of power and receives Seperus's sword. This sword has a mind of its own and slowly corrupts him by playing on his desire to one-up Linky and keep Lexie for himself.]]
* {{Ninja}}: Tamotsu is a ninja who focuses on having high speed and evasion stats, along with skills to inflict ailments on enemies and buff evasion.
* OpenEndedBossBattle: The second battle with [[spoiler:Derek]] doesn't have to be won to continue the story, but winning grants a powerful accessory and a slightly different cutscene.
* RareCandy: There are permanent stat increasing books that can be obtained from chests and examining certain bookshelves. There are also "rare" fruits that can permanently increase multiple stats at once.
* TheRedMage: Along with having a similar hat as a ''Franchise/FinalFantasy'' Red Mage, Linky can use offensive, healing, and support spells without specializing in any of them.
* RedemptionDemotion: [[spoiler:Derek joins the party after the events of Chaos Tower, but due to losing Seperus's evil sword, he's nowhere near as strong as he was in his DuelBoss battle with Linky.]]
* ResurrectiveImmortality: [[spoiler:The spirits disperse into magic energy when they die, but they can eventually reassemble their bodies. The shards of the Grand Crystal can speed up this process, which is how Seperus brought them back in the final dungeon. After Zardon is defeated, the party uses the shards to revive the spirits again, this time free of Morian control.]]
* SatanicArchetype: Zardon is a Holy Being who rebelled against Irin out of jealousy and commands an army of demons, which he plans on using to enslave humanity just to spite the other Holy Beings. [[spoiler:Through his offspring, Seperus, he managed to subvert humans such as Kagan and Derek to his cause.]]
* SemiDivine: [[spoiler:Linky is half-angel due to Irin being his mother. If he sustains near fatal damage and survives, he can regenerate and unlock more of his angelic power.]]
* SquishyWizard: Aria is a mage with powerful all-hitting spells and an MP stealing spell to make her magic sustainable, but has low defenses.
* StoneWall: Terence has low offensive stats and agility, but has high defense and can make enemies more likely to target him.
* SuperiorSuccessor: [[spoiler:Irin states Linky has more potential than the previous Radiant Arc. This is because Linky is born of an angel and a human while the previous Radiant Arc was a normal human who was converted into a nephilim, allowing him to unlock more angelic power.]]
* SupportPartyMember: Richard is a bard that focuses on buff and debuff skills. His offensive stats aren't that strong and his higher end offensive skills exist for the same of weakening the enemies' defenses than dealing direct damage.
* ThenLetMeBeEvil: Kagan was once a Lounan who wanted to figure out a way to control the Morians. When his fellow humans rejected him as a madman, he joins the Morians to get revenge on humanity.
* UniversalAmmunition:
** Lexie requires arrows in order to fire her bow or use bow skills. However, there is only one type of arrow despite the many bows in the game.
** Downplayed for Nuria's guns. There are bullets for specific gun types, but that means all guns of the same type can use the same ammo, regardless of their actual chamber size.
* WhiteMage: Carrie is a standard healing mage, but she also has the ability to draw aggro specifically from magic attacks, which complements her high magic defense growth.
* WorfHadTheFlu:
** Terra the Earth Spirit had to have her magic power weakened in order for the Morians to control her, meaning the party didn't defeat her at her full strength. At the same time, Lexie, Terence, and Aria were bedridden during that fight, meaning the party wasn't at its full strength either.
** [[spoiler:Linky's mother is actually the human avatar of Irin and is still powerful enough to be the guardian of one of the Grand Crystal shards, but she can't access her full divine powers, meaning she doesn't stand a chance against Seperus.]]
* YouAreWhatYouHate: Linky derides the legend of the Radiant Arc as hogwash, since that hero never arrived to save his mother and village. This cynicism turns into self-deprecation when he learns that he's the Radiant Arc, since it means he failed to save his loved ones despite being TheChosenOne. As a result, he's starts out unconfident in succeeding in his role.
