''Mike Shadow: I Paid For It!'' is an UsefulNotes/AdobeFlash video game by Tanoku released in 2011. In it, you play as the titular Mike Shadow, who just wanted to buy a drink with a coin, but the machine just swallows his coin and doesn't give him the drink he paid for. Enraged, Mike decides to beat the tar out of the machine, in the most brutal way possible. This sets up the gameplay, in which you control Mike and beat the machine up until his patience for the day runs out, after which you can buy upgrades with money earned from the beatdown, then repeat the process as the fights grow flashier and more intense (even if the machine doesn't ultimately get damaged).
