In the year 20XX, it has not been long since Mega Man last battled Dr. Wily. The world is still at unease. Everyone knew it would be a matter of time until he came up with a new world domination scheme. And lo and behold, Dr. Wily has announced that he's intending to have a final battle with Mega Man - creating a new set of 8 robot masters.
