''Ghost Recon: Wii'' (sometimes known as Ghost Recon) is 2010 ThirdPersonShooter game developed by Creator/NextLevelGames and published by Creator/{{Ubisoft}} worldwide. It's only marketed as an exclusive game for the UsefulNotes/{{Wii}}.

The game takes place in both Norway and Russia after pro-Ultranationalist force wage a coup to overthrow the legitimate government in Moscow. From there, they started an invasion of the Scandanavian countries, starting from Norway. The US military launches landings on the Norwegian coast to defeat Ultranationalist occupation and drive them out of Norway. Dalton Hibbard and Joe Booth are deployed in Norway as part of the US Army Ranger contingent. They were subsequently recruited to the Ghosts.[[note]]The game is said to take place during the events of HAWX 2.[[/note]]

On a mission in Russia three months after Dalton and Joe joined, their diguised convoy was caught in ambush, forcing them to fight pro-Ultranationalist troops while being separated from fellow Ghost forces. From there, they're ordered to find or kill Maxim Cherskiy, who's responsible for defending Moscow.

Moscow.

The most noteworthy aspect of this game is that it's part of the large crossover revolving around a second Russian ultranationalist revolution (following the first one that took place in the original game), which also involved ''VideoGame/{{HAWX}} 2'', ''VideoGame/GhostReconShadowWars'', and ''VideoGame/GhostReconFutureSoldier'' - of course, thanks in part to the TroubledProduction of ''Future Soldier'', [[BroadStrokes none of the games quite match up with each other in terms of how the conflict is depicted]].
