It is speculated that it will be on multiple consoles and will feature co-op play, with a second player controlling Oswald, who flies like a helicopter and attacks with electricity. Possible subtitles include ''Return of the Mad Doctor'', ''The Power of Two'', and ''Mystery on Mean Street''.

The ''Hades'' Beetleworx, as well as the [[{{Pinocchio}} Jiminy Cricket]] Beetleworx, are nowhere to be seen in game, whereas the type the latter would be is also not seen in the game at all. Hades has been replaced with a mix of a [[{{TRON}} Lightcycle]] and one of the dinosaur-like guards from LiloAndStitch, and [[SnowWhiteandtheSevenDwarves Lady Grimhilde]]. You know, the lady that tried to poison Snow White. The Body to this Beetleworx is also the Poison Apple.

* IAmNotShazam: TheMadDoctor is named after the original short he starred in, rather than his actual name, Dr. XXX.

* FreeRotatingCamera: Oh, ye gods... For players who are often frustrated with platforming, the uncooperative camera can be The Worst Thing.

This is a similar effect to the style of older cartoons where [[ConspicuouslyLightPatch objects that were not a part of the background and could be interacted with by the characters were also lighter in color]] (as they were drawn in the animation cels as opposed to being background objects).

* TheMerch: Showing up in DisneyThemeParks this year is a lot of merch featuring old [[MickeyMouse Mickey]] (including at least one shirt featuring a shot of him from ''Gallopin' Gaucho'', a short that fell into company DisContinuity for having [[MickeyMouse Mickey]] light a cigarette -with his foot- among other things.) This game is why.

* SureWhyNot: At a panel, Warren Spector mentioned that he limited the references to other {{Disney}} films up to [[Disney/TheJungleBook The Jungle Book]] in order to prevent himself from going overboard. PeterDavid, on the same panel, mentioned that [[Disney/TheJungleBook The Jungle Book]] was the last film WaltDisney had a direct hand in making, so Warren Spector said that was the official reason from now on.

* LimitedSpecialCollectorsUltimateEdition: Comes with a Behind the Scenes DVD, a [[MickeyMouse Mickey]] figure, and some decals for the {{Wii}} and [[PunBasedTitle Wiimote]]. No artbook, but word is it's set for summer 2011.
