* PlatformActivatedAbility: Normally, Bayonetta can summon a large Demon Slave for a limited time that is indicated by the purple-colored magic gauge in the screen. However, in certain chapters, there are artifacts Bayonetta can hit repeatedly to make them project a luminescent purple mark in the floor. If Bayonetta stands atop this mark, she'll be able to summon a Demon Slave for an unlimited period of time, since the magic gauge will not deplete. This becomes handy when in need to solve a puzzle or activating a mechanism that requires an extensive use of the Demon Slave in question, or sometimes to defeat enemies solely with it during a Verse or challenge.

* BossOnlyLevel:
** Generally averted, as unlike in previous games, there is no chapter that is solely dedicated for fighting a boss. That said, given that in many levels the last few verse(s)s are purely boss fight(s), you can invoke this yourself by going in from the last checkpoint and thus fight only bosses.
** Played straight with a few Phenomenal Remnants, such as 9 and 13, which are a single verse with a single boss fight each.
