* BladeOnAStick: Spears, of the ancient Egyptian variety, are a common weapon used by both mooks and the Princess herself. Flavors include normal spears used for skewering, poisoned spears that drains health and electric spears that shocks anyone on the wrong end.

She can in fact beat up one or two awakened enemy at a time, as long as she didn't accidentally punch a sleeping mook.

''An Egyptian Tale'' is a BeatEmUp Flash game produced by Miniclip.com.

The Pharaoh has been murdered by his evil brother, a power-hungry [[TheUsurper usurper]] who leads an evil cult worshipping Anubis, the God of Death. Taking over Egypt, the cult of Anubis rules with an iron fist, and it's up to the Princess to avenge her father by defeating her EvilUncle and confronting Anubis in the underworld to put an end to his cult.

Players, in control of the Princess, gets to kick all kinds of ass across four levels throughout Thebes, including the Pharaoh's palace, Abu Simbel, the pyramids and last of all, Anubis' domain in the underworld.

** Anubis' cultists can float around the area, and they're among the most powerful human-based enemies with their deadly spells and SerpentStaff.
** Hooded demons - EliteMook enemies - serving Anubis moves by floating all over the place while trying to attack the Princess with their staff.
** Anubis himself doesn't walk in the later stages of his boss battle. Instead, he floats all over the place while summoning tendrils of dark energy on the Princess.
* RewardingVandalism: Antique vases, Egyptian statues, and assorted potteries are everywhere in the palace, and the Princess can either smash them to pieces, or hurl them at enemies, revealing weapons and power-ups in their contents.
* SaiGuy: The Princess' default weapon is her twin sais. She does have extra sais which she throws at enemies every now and then.
* SerpentStaff: Befitting the Egyptian setting, the cultists enemies carry a staff which can cause a ShockwaveStomp when tapped on the ground.
* SnakeWhip: The High Priestess boss uses a snake-headed whip on the Princess, which can inflict poisonous bites when scoring a hit.
* ShieldBearingMook: Burly palace guards armed with shields are another enemy in the first three stages. They're higher in defense and their shield makes them tougher to go down, but spamming kicks and stabs still works.
* ShockAndAwe: The electric spear weapon can electrocute enemies.
* SpinAttack: One of the Princess' special attacks, where she spins around in circles taking down enemies surrounding her.
* SummonMagic: The Hooded Demons can summon skeleton mooks by tapping the ground, creating magic circles where skeletons will emerge from. Anubis does the same in the final battle.
* TakenForGranite: The Medusa spear's special effects. Any enemies killed with this weapon will petrify and [[LIterallyShatteredLives break into pieces]].
