I've been hanging around the TV Tropes website since 2019 or so, then finally created an account in 2023. I'm a German living in Germany and sometimes answer questions related to the German language on the Writer's Block forum. The add server, however, is not sure if it should place my location in the Czech Republic.

My current forum signature ("He betrayed the Staaarks" is not the only problem here.) is a reference to a character from the Literature/ASongOfIceAndFire book series by George R.R. Martin. I don't consider it a spoiler because there is so much betrayal in those books that someone betraying House Stark in some way isn't really narrowing it down.
Outside of Writer's Block and the A Song of Ice and Fire thread on the Literature forum, I am mostly found on the Video Games forum. I play VideoGame/StardewValley, VideoGame/TheSims3, casual Nintendo games like VideoGame/{{Nintendogs}} + Cats and VideoGame/WiiFit Plus, and have first-hand experience with some of the very old Pokémon games, mostly [[VideoGame/PokemonGoldAndSilver Johto]]. I want to get into the Franchise/AceAttorney and Franchise/TheElderScrolls series, but haven't played much of either of them. I sometimes comment on the topic of games that I haven't played or gaming systems that I don't own (or that don't exist) if the discussion is related to general video game trends.
