* WhatCouldHaveBeen: Due to the author cancelling the third tournament mid-way, a lot of things failed to be realized plot-wise, but he did post a series of potential plans that would have panned out if he had kept going...
** Bison's plan would have needed [[spoiler: Pikachu to act as a battery for a machine of his. A failed kidnapping of Pikachu is later revealed to be the in-universe cause of the tournament's cancellation due to causing a blackout]].

*** Captain Qwark is told that he will witness someone getting shot and, rather than cower in fear, he will face the aggressor with anger and take a step to becoming a real hero.
